Dear Intimacy,

What would you have me know today?

my bff (one of my bffs!), laura, and i went to california!!!! huntington beach (surf city!!) to run a marathon! it was amazing. the best. i still laugh out loud when i’m trying to fall asleep and my mind drifts to california.

you better believe we listened to california love by tupac (this will make some sense when you watch the slideshow) while laura was cruising us down newport beach into crystal cove. we followed tupac with lot of 90s hip hop, beach boys, all the california tunes. one of my favourite parts of our vacation (and yes, a vacation, not a TRIP - there were no kids) was in the airport on the way home waiting in the lounge for our flight to be called. we had a few hours and laura, what seemed to me, went to sit in the chair and leave one chair between us. i love laura so much and loved being so close to her the entire trip that i just cozied up right next to her so i cold be close by. no space between us. we had a great laugh about this.
