Dear Intimacy,
What would you have me know today?

Drawing day 2. Self portraits.
This morning before school, Miles, Margot, and I squished ourselves into our tiny bathroom, positioned ourselves in front of the mirror, and drew our self-portraits. I stopped drawing when I was 9 or 10ish years old when I was really into drawing cartoon characters (my dad framed and hung up my cartoons in his office! - He did not work from home). Betty Edwards suggests when people start drawing as adults, their drawings may look “childish” and this is because the last time you drew something with intention was when you were a kid. Miles keeps telling me my portraits look like cartoon characters.
I love Margot’s self-portrait :)
